3 Simple home practice drills you can try with just a towel

 

1) To correct over swing or excessive right arm bend in the swing 

A) Wrap your towel around the forearm of your trail arm. (Right arm for a right handed golfer)

B) Make a backswing - The towel around the forearm allows your to keep nice structure in your right arm, setting yourself in the right position with your arms at the top.

2) For those who feel that their arms run away from their body during the back and through swing 

Simply place a towel between your arm pits and make half swings, giving you the feel of connection.

3) The classic ‘Swinging-The-Towel’

Most of you would have seen golfers swing the towel to warm up or train clubhead speed. Here’s a small modification of that to increase your clubhead speed.

A) Start your swing - Keep your feet together and swing up to the top.
